There are Mortise door latches, plates, and knobs all through the house. They had been painted over previously, and half of them didn’t latch. I figured it was time to bring them up to par with the rest of the house.
I took all of the hardware off, stripped, sanded, and repainted the plated and latches. I bought new glass knobs and ornate hinges from House of Antique Hardware.
Finished product was painted with Rustoleum’s “rubbed bronze” spray cans.
